Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and install various network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability, performing troubleshooting as needed.
- Configure and install software and hardware for network infrastructure in accordance with company standards.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely solutions to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to develop and implement comprehensive network solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar networking role.
- Solid understanding of network operating systems and various network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Extensive experience with network hardware and software, including configuration and management.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
