This role involves inter-departmental checks covering Electrical-Layout design and Civil-foundation design, supporting the full cycle of works from pre-bid engineering to commissioning and warranty periods.

Key Responsibilities

Review manufacturer drawings for various equipment at substation level and submit to client.
Review client comments and provide responses with revised vendor documents.
Ensure deliveries are aligned to the Project Schedule.
Follow up with manufacturers for drawing submissions and incorporation of comments.
Check vendor GA parameters on primary equipment layout and coordinate with the vendor.
Support the Site team on site queries regarding manufactured equipment.

Requirements

Basic understanding of Substation equipment and their layout.
Well-versed in verification of Manufacturer drawings w.r.t. client specifications.
In-depth knowledge of preparing engineering calculations and listing technical parameters for specific equipment.
Proper communication skills for interacting with Manufacturers.
Experience in inter-disciplinary checks (Equipment General Arrangement Drawings w.r.t. layout & civil foundation design).
