Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care for day surgery patients.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and meticulously monitor vital signs and recovery progress.
- Educate patients and their families thoroughly on post-operative care instructions and expected recovery pathways.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring strict compliance with all healthcare standards and protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthetists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Possession of a valid nursing license in the UAE (DOH/HAAD).
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in a Day Surgery Unit (DSU) or a busy surgical ward.
- Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced, high-pressure medical environment.
