Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure the immaculate cleanliness and hygiene of all convention centre areas.
- Manage, train, and supervise a team of junior stewarding staff, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all stewarding equipment and supplies.
- Implement and monitor strict adherence to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Support banquet and event operations, ensuring timely setup and breakdown of catering areas.
- Coordinate with other departments to maintain seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Steward or a similar supervisory role, preferably in a large hospitality venue or convention centre.
- Strong knowledge of various cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as per event schedules.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
