Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for tenders and projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project scope.
- Collaborate closely with sales, procurement, and project management teams for data collection.
- Evaluate and incorporate subcontractor and supplier quotations into overall estimates.
- Identify potential risks, opportunities, and cost-saving alternatives during the estimation phase.
- Present detailed estimates and analysis to management and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Estimation Engineer, preferably in the construction or building materials sector.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in estimation software, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
