Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies and programs for port equipment.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor asset performance, identify trends, and predict potential issues using data analysis.
- Optimize preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and costs.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to enhance equipment reliability.
- Manage spare parts optimization and procurement strategies to ensure availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Reliability Engineer, preferably in heavy industry or port operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in reliability tools (e.g., FMEA, RCM).
- Excellent understanding of maintenance best practices and asset management principles.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
