Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed bills of quantities, cost estimates, and budget reports for MEP projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering to optimize project costs.
- Manage contract administration, including evaluation of variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project progression.
- Monitor project costs meticulously and ensure strict adherence to budgetary allocations.
- Perform comprehensive risk assessments and provide proactive mitigation strategies for financial exposures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor Engineer, specifically within MEP projects.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, local construction laws, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Office, and specialized quantity surveying tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
