Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pain conditions using evidence-based practices.
- Develop and implement individualized pain management plans for patients.
- Perform interventional pain procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and radiofrequency ablations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, orthopedists, and physical therapists.
- Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or equivalent in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology with a fellowship in Pain Medicine.
- Valid professional license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE (DOH/HAAD license or eligibility).
- Proven experience in a specialist pain medicine role, including interventional procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding and fast-paced healthcare environment.
