Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine tests according to professional standards and guidelines.
• Monitor sample management, including sorting and allocation based on testing requirements.
• Process clinical chemistry, immunology, haematology, blood transfusion and clinical microscopy tests.
• Conduct analysis of body fluids, blood specimens, urine and spinal fluid.
• Result analysis and verification of accuracy of findings.
• Contribute to relevant quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory sciences or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years' full time experience as a medical laboratory technologist in clinical chemistry.
• Correct maintenance of instrumentation according to manufacturer's guidelines.
• Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office).
• Knowledge of real time multiplex PCR and close molecular systems.
