Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot integrated library systems (ILS) and other digital resources.
• Provide technical support to library staff and users, resolving system-related issues promptly.
• Ensure the security, integrity, and optimal performance of all library system databases.
• Collaborate with IT department and external vendors for system upgrades and new implementations.
• Develop and deliver training sessions on library systems for staff and patrons.
• Stay updated with emerging library technologies and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in library systems administration or support.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential for effective communication.
• Strong understanding of library standards (e.g., MARC21, RDA) and cataloging practices.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
