Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the estimation department, overseeing all civil project tenders and proposals.
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for large-scale civil engineering projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine scope and requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and project management teams for optimal pricing strategies.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Mentor and develop junior estimation engineers, ensuring high standards of work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in civil estimation, with significant experience in the UAE.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in estimation software and advanced Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
