Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures for infrastructure and road projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
• Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure strict adherence to local and international HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Organize and deliver HSE training and awareness programs for all project staff and contractors.
• Prepare and maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, and performance reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2-5 years) as an HSE Engineer, specifically within infrastructure or road construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessment methodologies, and relevant legal requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively engage with all levels of staff.
• Possession of industry-recognized HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH) is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a challenging and dynamic construction site environment.
