Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine the scope of work.
- Calculate the quantities of materials, labor, and equipment required for each project.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Review and analyze bids from contractors.
- Present estimates to management and clients for review and approval.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Estimator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
