Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive annual internal audit plan based on risk assessment.
• Lead and manage all stages of audit engagements, from planning and execution to reporting.
• Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
• Provide independent assurance to the Board and senior management on the adequacy of controls.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
• Mentor and develop the internal audit team, promoting continuous professional growth.

Requirements

• UAE National status is a mandatory requirement for this position.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline. Professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA, ACCA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in internal audit, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and risk management principles.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.
