Key Responsibilities
- Perform and monitor cardiopulmonary bypass during cardiac surgeries.
- Manage and operate heart-lung machines and related equipment.
- Administer blood products and medications during perfusion.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of perfusion procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- Certified Cardiac Perfusionist.
- Experience in adult and pediatric cardiac perfusion.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
