Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and cash applications.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all incoming payments and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, highlighting overdue accounts and potential risks.
- Communicate effectively with clients to facilitate timely payments and resolve billing issues.
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate customer records.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
